How do we communicate internally and externally about Outward Bound's Professional Learning Lab?
On July 15th this summer we had a great Lab call with the people who were able to attend, and we want to make sure that everyone has access to the key information that was shared about our new communication resources.
Over the past six months, I’ve been working with marketing and development representatives from several regional Outward Bound schools to create resources to meet communications needs that have been expressed by the network. On the call we introduced these resources and how to use them. If you weren’t on the call, please block some time on your calendar to watch this 35-minute recording of the presentation.
The same presentation was done for the Marketing Services Group and the National Development Officers Group, and we are working to get the info out to sales staff via email as well (since they don’t have a group that meets regularly). While these will likely be the people at your school who use the resources the most, you have an important role to play in helping them understand the specific aspects of the Lab work that are in process at your school, how you are using the various tools, and the data your school has amassed. We want to make sure you understand the resources they are using so that you can support them in using them appropriately for your school.
